Gerardo Della Paolera holds an MA in Economics and a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago. Currently he is Executive Director of the Bunge and Born Foundation and Professor at Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT) and Central European University (CEU). He is also a former president of Global Development Network (GDN). He was the founding Rector of the UTDT and Professor at the universities of Chicago, Carlos IlI, Kyoto, LSE, San Andrés and Buenos Aires. He has numerous published articles and is co-author of the books: Straining at The Anchor: The Argentine Currency Board and the Search for Macroeconomic Stability
