MARIA FERNANDA ENRIQUEZ

María Fernanda’s professional career has been focused on providing high-level operational support to international organizations and academic institutions. Before joining IBS, she worked at Future Earth (hosted by CU Boulder until 2022) and ISET-International, a Boulder-based international environmental organization. Previously she worked with the United Nations Global Environment Facility-Small Grants Program in Ecuador, where she managed grants afforded to hundreds of local grassroots organizations. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science in 2014 from the University of Connecticut, and her research focused on environmental social movements and indigenous peoples.
