Mrs. Tsyon Asfaw is a Ph.D candidate at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She obtained M.Sc. Degree in Biodiversity conservation and Management from Hawassa University, Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources (HU WGCF- NR) and Post Graduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice from University of Oxford. Her job carrier started in 2011, when she was employed as a Graduate Assistant I at Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources. Since then, she was successively promoted to academic ranks of Graduate Assistant II, Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer based on her work performance efficiency and educational qualification upgrading. she is now working as research associate in large carnivore survey of Ethiopia, Oxford based project. Her research interests are focuses on wildlife ecology and coexistence of communities with wildlife through promoting livelihood benefits of wildlife conservation such as eco-tourism and environmental education.
